CeeD, in partnership with Interface, are pleased to invite you to their event ‘Innovate with Interface’. This event will showcase how collaborating with Scotland's world class universities and research institutes can encourage, initiate and drive innovation amongst Scottish businesses.
The event will be held on Tuesday, 12th June 2018 at the Royal Bank of Scotland, 1 Albyn Place, Aberdeen AB10 1BR. Registration will take place from 10:00, before the event commences at 10.30am. A light lunch will be available during the networking session from 12:00 – 1:00.
Gary Hogan, Business Engagement Executive at Interface, will present the benefits of collaborating with universities and research institutes and how these partnerships can often lead to new products, services and processes.
He will also outline how businesses can access the specialist equipment and technologies that are housed within Scotland’s universities. The commercial adoption of these facilities provides businesses with cost effective solutions which may often be too expensive to purchase or develop in-house.
The case study for this event will come from our guest speaker, Barry Leaper, Director of LiberEat Ltd, one of the UK's most dynamic high growth startups. LiberEat utilises technology and nutritional expertise to improve health and make life easier for people with restricted diets. Interface partnered them with the University of Glasgow who had the expertise in user data analytics and monetising anonymised user data that the company required to develop their app.
Also speaking will be David Nicholson from CeeD, Dr Nadimul Faisal from Robert Gordon University and Roz Taylor from Elevator.
We hope you’ll come along and learn how collaboration can help to boost your business, saving you time and money.
