Bespoke Qualification Discussion

  • 11-Sep-2018
  • 11:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • Institute of Directors, 10 Charlotte Square, Edinburgh, EH2 4DR

*Due to high demand we ask that only one person per organisation attends.

Scotland is about to develop it's first Bespoke Cutting & Tailoring qualification. And we would like to invite you and your knowledge to help shape this course.

UKFT and Textiles Scotland invite sector stakeholders to participate in the development of a Bespoke Cutting & Tailoring qualification for Scotland.

What will be discussed?

  • The current suite of National Occupational Standards for Bespoke Cutting & Tailoring, currently available in both England and Wales and originally led by Savile Row Bespoke companies.
  • The existing qualification structure.
  • The demand for the qualification and potential take up numbers in Scotland.

This vital qualification, once developed, will also form part of the existing Modern Apprenticeship in Fashion & Textiles ‘Heritage’ framework at SCQF Level 6/7.
