"It is vital for brands to be seen exhibiting during these shows in London"

At Natasha Marshall we were very keen to show our new fabric and wallpaper collections Alegre, Ikon and Alibi in London during London Design Week this year as we know so many of our past customers & potential customers from all over the UK will be in London for the show at Chelsea Harbour that week.

For us we felt it was vital that with relaunching the Natasha Marshall brand that people could see all the fabrics displayed at a show and there are no shows in London that you can take space in until September for this sector. We started to look for a pop-up space to exhibit and came across the Chart Gallery which is very near two of the big fabric companies where people visit during the Chelsea Harbour Design show.

We felt the space could fit two other companies so we approached Charlotte James Furniture and Bute fabrics with our idea and both said they would love to be involved and exhibit that week. We all decided the group needed a name so the ‘Design Scotland Collective' was born!

  • "For us we will be able to show our new fabric collections off at their best"

It is vital for brands to be seen exhibiting during these shows in London as we then get to meet up with new and existing companies from across the whole of the UK and abroad as a huge number travel to the show during this week and Focus in September.

For us we will be able to show our new fabric collections off at their best in big lengths and made-up products so retailers can see how the brand could sit in their own retail shops. It also makes a huge difference for Interior Designers and Architects to see the large pieces of fabric so they can see how great the design and quality is.

The three brands involved all compliment each other and Charlotte James Furniture is upholstered in both Natasha Marshall and Bute fabrics. Also, by having a launch party on the Monday night, we get the chance to invite potential and existing customers to a fun event showcasing further Scottish brands Linn and Auchentoshan.
